Each year we look for something special to show our mums how much we love and appreciate them. We do that with flowers, chocolates, candles and other lovely pressies but how about this year you give her something a little different.
You can still give her a bunch of flowers but how about throwing a power tool or laser into the mix and help support her growing DIY creativity.
To help you out I have included a list below of some of the main tools that I would recommend when you’re just getting started.
1. Laser Measure
In a renovation of any kind, you will need a measure. Whether you’re renovating your kitchen or checking ceiling heights or measuring a room, the Laser Measure is so handy, you literally point and click and get an accurate measurement. DIY is all about inspiration, and I find when you have a great tool on hand and a colour that makes you happy then you’re more creative.

If you plan to buy mum a tool then I would highly recommend keeping them in the same brand family. This way you can buy mum the same brand of tool the following year and no need to buy a new battery every time.
