Still not sure what the One Room Challenge is then click the link for more information and maybe you could join me next season!

Progress, Progress, Progress as we head into week 4 of The One Room Challenge. We have a gorgeous painted surface ready for the new kitchen!!

Derek finished painting the kitchen and new pantry area and it was time for me to start working up concepts for the pantry shelving.  We are used to designing and building pantries, closets and other storage areas but this is the first time we have completed a project where I can put my new sketchUp skills to work.

So as you know from week 1 we had already designed the new kitchen and the exterior of the pantry however we hadn’t yet designed the inside of the pantry so whilst Derek was painting it was the perfect opportunity for me create a design.  We know they want to have a minimalist kitchen so all small appliances, large pots and pans and dry storage needs a home as well as having a tea and coffee station…….

Don’t forget to read to the bottom for this weeks DIY TIP!

And here are some progress pictures of the painting….

So what else is going on? Well we have the asbestos being removed from our house on Friday so it’s a busy week of packing and sorting at our house for that…

Oh and did I mention we were also renovating my parents laundry area? Well here’s a little update on that.
